 Cucumber and salmon sushi rolls are a delicious and popular choice in Japanese cuisine. Here's a simple recipe to make cucumber and salmon sushi rolls at home:

Ingredients:

- Sushi rice

- Nori (seaweed) sheets

- Fresh cucumber

- Fresh salmon fillet

- Soy sauce

- Wasabi (optional)

- Pickled ginger (optional)

Instructions:

1.  Prepare the sushi rice: Wash the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.Cook the rice in keeping with the bundle instructions. Once cooked, let it cool slightly.

2. Slice the cucumber and salmon: Cut the cucumber into thin strips or julienne slices. Slice the salmon into thin strips as well.

3. Prepare a sushi rolling mat: Place a bamboo sushi rolling mat on a flat surface. You can cover the mat with plastic wrap to prevent sticking.

4. Lay the nori sheet: Place a sheet of nori on the sushi rolling mat.

5. Spread the rice: Wet your hands with water to prevent sticking, and take a handful of sushi rice. Spread the rice evenly over the nori sheet, leaving a small border at the top.

6. Add cucumber and salmon: Place cucumber and salmon strips in a row across the center of the rice.

7. Roll the sushi: Using the sushi rolling mat, start rolling the nori and rice tightly over the filling ingredients. Apply gentle pressure to ensure a tight roll.

8. Seal the roll: Wet your fingertips with water and moisten the border of the nori sheet to seal the roll.

9. Slice the sushi roll: Use a sharp knife to slice the sushi roll into bite-sized pieces. Wet the knife with water between each slice to prevent sticking.

10. Serve and enjoy: Arrange the sushi rolls on a plate and serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
